A warm and friendly welcome to Hamster Pal, our small but informative site about hamsters. We hope you will enjoy your stay and find the site both friendly and informative.
We started this site when our daughters bought pet hamsters. After a thorough look at existing sites on the Internet, we were unable to find a site dedicated to these cute little pets that offered plain, practical advice in an accessible and approachable manner. So we decided to do our best to fill the void, and Hamster Pal was the outcome.
On these pages, we will reflect on our experiences keeping and rearing hamsters, post pictures and videos of our hamsters and present our findings as keen amateurs hamster keepers. You'll find information on hamster food, hamster care, cages, breeding and a whole host of other hamster related topics. Be sure to check back often as the site is continually evolving.
Most of the site content is easily accessible through links in the "navigation" section on the left hand side, or through links in the tes on pages. Most pages link to relevant follow-on material. We also have a convenient hamster glossary that will give brief explanations of most of the hamster related terms used on this site.
We also have a hamster forum that we hope you will find a valuable resource and maybe even join in the hamster related discussion.
